    DWGH Farm Projects Thread 2018

Any other reasons than those listed above? I like that Muddy is insulated, but that is about the only thing Redneck doesn’t have. I know you MW guys are sponsored by Redneck [emoji6], but I assume there is another reason you prefer them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Brassicas in standing corn

What does your corn look like? If your corn is tall and has canopied I wouldn’t waste the money as I wouldn’t expect much to grow. If the deer have prevented your corn from succeeding you could give it a go. You are really sucking the N out of your soil by doing this though and the corn may have...

    DWGH Farm Projects Thread 2018

Another question for ya. Got my fence set up and it is fencing 2 acres twice around. The line is ran continuously around both acres and hooked direct to the box. I get good shock when close to the grounding rod, but when I’m say 100 yards away the shock is weak or often non existent. I don’t...

    DWGH Farm Projects Thread 2018

I’m in the process of buying post for my fall plot electric fence right now. Do you feel that the inner strand at waist high is sufficient enough to keep deer from jump it? I plan to have the outer row about 4 feet in front of the inner row of fencing. The tall posts get pretty spendy, but I’m...

    Corn Nearly Total Loss

I’m in the same boat. I’ve planted over 10 acres of beans this year and the deer have destroyed all but 2-3. None of them are even able to get to canopy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Summer Buck Tendancies

Well ended up busting a real nice buck at our farm today. I’m wondering what everyone’s thoughts/experience is with spooking a mature buck this time of year? I’m optimistic he’ll stick around, but I know the mature ones are smart and very finicky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New disc for tight spots

Do you think the lack of free float of the disk as compared to being dragged behind a tractor will make a difference? Seems to me the disk wont be as free to move and therefore won't do as good of a job
