Selective cut to get $$ and create better bedding and browse in desired locations.
If you like the park-like setting don’t do anything.
If you do have logging done, hire a trusted forester on an hourly basis to go in and mark trees and then have him get bids for logging process.

Look around... you can find them for at least $500 less
You can buy a 4 row 7000 series pull type planter for that price.

How did you setup your E fence?
Height of wire, # of strands, distance between posts, etc? I'm looking to do that myself because if I don't my beans will not survive long.
Certainly plant both the rye and clover this fall. Won't see much for clover (if at all) this fall, but it will pop in the spring. I did this exact thing last fall and my clover plot is looking very nice this spring.
Don’t need a segment on that. It’s simple... meet every neighbor that is within 1 mile of your potential property border. Do that first. Then if you’re still interested start to break down the lay of the land and compare it to how other properties around yours setup.

What tractor are you using to pull that drill? Sorry can't see model #s.
I'm looking at buying that exact drill, but I live in hilly country and am curious how my JD 4720 would pull it around.
Just buy a hand held card reader unit if you want to view them in the field. Or bring your laptop. I've found it to be a PITA to view them with a cardreader/iphone.
