Certainly plant both the rye and clover this fall. Won't see much for clover (if at all) this fall, but it will pop in the spring. I did this exact thing last fall and my clover plot is looking very nice this spring.

What tractor are you using to pull that drill? Sorry can't see model #s. I'm looking at buying that exact drill, but I live in hilly country and am curious how my JD 4720 would pull it around.

Just buy a hand held card reader unit if you want to view them in the field. Or bring your laptop. I've found it to be a PITA to view them with a cardreader/iphone.
