What is the best option for a linked trail camera system these days? One that several cams can send all the pics to one specific cam or a "home unit"
Non cellular as I have zero service in some areas.
I was going to try some cuddelink cams but I was told that they eat batteries like crazy.
Could just be that nobody is hunting or trapping those specific animals much lately... Fur prices have been garbage for several years and a lot of pheasant hunters slowed way down or just gave it up years back when the numbers got so low and started hunting other things instead.

Ya but even a fully guided elk hunt is work... A lot of guys just wanna go hang out in a nice heated blind and hunt a couple hours shoot their "trophy" and go home with store bought bragging rights without ever breaking a sweat.
Anyone who pays that kind of money for that kind of "hunt" isnt...
I dont have all the specifics on the paramount but if I was going to spend that kind of money on a muzzleloader Id probably say screw the black powder and get a CVA Scout smokeless conversion... Thats what I did last year and its really surprised me, you wont find a better option in that price...

I had Hollis Weber from Centerpunch USA in Dubuque convert a stainless steel CVA Scout 45-70 to smokeless for me last summer. The gun/conversion was under $700 and you can get the blued CVA hunter model for about $100 less. Mine shoots ridiculously good for what it is with just a 12x heavy...
