Was buried in does last night. Finally got some meat for the freezer. Here's to praying for that buck to walk by before season 1 ends. Then patiently waiting for late muzzleloader. I've never had a food source near before and the public i was on gets hammered gun 2

7 does total . Didn't get closer than 50 yards. All the bucks have disappeared. The corn im near has been disked. May be rough getting my buck this year. Too many mistakes on my part.

Out last night. Saw 3 spooky does and 1 lone fawn. Haven't seen a single buck in a while. Just got permission on this property to get me away from the hit and miss public i was on. Hoping this isn't the first year i haven't managed to get a buck but looking more and more like it.

It's a dnr regulation and they stated from the start that they will enforce it so be careful. I don't agree either.

doe with 2 fawns , then 7 more does , a button buck going from doe to doe grunting as best as he could , then a decent 10 weaved through them , never got closer than 50

moved to a new area i just got permission on . had 2 4 points hanging together in cut corn at 60, 4 does at 200 and then a doe with 2 fawns til she got downwind of me. didnt even look like the rut at all

was able to change my weekend to fri/sat this week so ill be in stand bright and early tomorrow
