    One thing I found out that helps me growing the chestnuts in the greenhouse is to wash them in a product called StorOx2.0 a broad spectrum bactericide/fungicide. I also do float mine but I do them before they go in the fridge.

    8 years is how old they were when they produced in 2019, I bought 2 year old trees in 2013 I believe it can be done sooner. I had mine little to close to a wood line. I am really working on fine tuning it with the ones going in this fall.

    Just a comment on the anhydrous ammonia at 150 lbs. If you put down 150 lbs. of material with hydrous being 82% that is 123 lbs of actual nitrogen. Just need to make sure you're talking the same, material or actual

    Here in Michigan scary dry also . 5.8" since we finished planting crops end of may. Lastest rain came on August 10th at 2".

    Ok in a 250 gallon tote. Bout 1650 lbs. For urea Now straight potash b bout 2300 lbs. Depending on what blend, you will b somewhere in the middle This should get you very close
