Love the picture skip.
When my kids were growing up I don't even think they knew of a word like electronics lol.
My son Dug right into this deer hunting stuff too and the addiction continues.
If this little monster starts to get too big for his britches hunting in Iowa you can send him my way...
You said they are your neighbors.
BUILD a relationship.
Don't be nagging every time you see them bout buying, but occasionally that someday when THEY are ready to sell you would appreciate first chance.
Avoid the fiberglass, very flimsy when pounding in the ground.
Highly recommend rebar, cut the 20' into 3 pieces

We've been starting Chestnut seeds for a while now I have a small greenhouse a lot of trial and error.
This is the second year in a row that we've had extremely good luck growing them.
We use only potting soil mixed with perlite and we also catch rainwater and only water them with that.
We also...
Your probably ok with the containers till fall.
Come fall get them in the ground in your yard so they winter more like normal, by doing that you will get the heat from the ground.
If you leave them in the pots they will freeze, I have had it happen.

I always wanted to almost made it one year, i did research on it.
One thing to really really want to watch for, Canada can get some harsh winter kill in areas on the deer herd.
If that happens you probably should take that into consideration.

My first chestnuts are now 10 years old.
I planted them 8 years ago as 2 year old and tubed them. Today I'm taking the tree tube off and replacing with a wire guard and trunk protector around them.

We had a buck one time that we found entire left side that broke off from fighting deep in the skull. He lived another 4 years after that and every year his left side was always a really funky side compared to his right

Normally you run a coarser screen coming out of the tank heading toward the nozzles and then a finer screen at the nozzles.
yes you could run into some restriction if you go a fine screen out of the tank, as it would not have enough volume to get to every one of the individual fine screen...
If they produce in 5 years that's little faster.
I am always for trying something little different, if you end up having a problem with your chestnuts you want have different varieties of them.

Another follow-up answer here is once hydraulic is hooked up then you do have to activate the tractor hydraulic remote lever to operate the Spade controls.
The Spade has 7 hydraulic levers.
2 to open the front to get into the tree.
1 for EACH spade and 1 for the tilt, which you can also control...
