So I first used dbltree's 3 years ago (before i joined IW or knew who paul was) when my uncle had told me about it. I've had very good luck with this mix/rotation but I acquired another farm last summer and decided to try doing food plots on it this year. Clover is just starting to come up but...
I get mine from a local fertilizer company. The label is wrote in numbers but stands for Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potassium (in that order). The numbers are percentages of those products in that particular fertilizer. Your individual soil test will tell you exactly what fertilizer you need. Since...
I have been using my current release ($20-30 TruFire from Gander Mountain) for 5+ years now and it's never let me down but she's getting a little wore out so it's time to upgrade. The one I am currently using it a wrist strap style release and I'm curious if anybody used the new style release...
I got a couple cameras on existing mineral sites and just two weeks ago added three cameras, two on new mineral sites and the other over a watering hole. Very anxious to check them and find my first velvet nubs of the year!! Love watching them develope!
I was out Sunday hanging up some more cameras, checking the food plots, and doing some looking for mushrooms and noticed the ticks are out like crazy! I pulled 7 off of me in 6 hours at the farm. Anything I can wear or spray to help eliminate ticks on me? I have also found 12-15 ticks on my...
I haven't made it up to my farm yet to see how my newly planted clover/chicory mix is doing but I was wondering if any of your food plots that were planted either this last fall or this spring are coming up yet? And what's everybody planting?
I don't know about the micro red 4 but I've had three wildgame cameras that were 5 mp and all were great pictures/videos for about 2 months. After that they only trigger about half the time. Sometimes way less than that even. I would never buy one again. For how cheap they are the picture/video...
I'm looking to get a new range finder for bow hunting only. Should I get one that compensates for your angle or just a standard range finder? What are you guys using? Makes? Models? Thanks.
What is his price on a new experience? How long did it take him to get you fine tuned? He is about 2.5-3 hours from me but getting sick of my current bow shop so looking to find someone else.
Do any of you know the restrictions on McBride for boat size and/or motor size? I know there's a hp limit but I can't remember what it is. Im not sure if there's a boat size limit. Also is there and restrictions on Coralville?
If any of you are in the market for a new fish finder check out the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI. I bought one last fall when they were on sale and I love it! Very accurate and very easy to use. They are originally $550-$600 but right now Cabelas has them on sale for $260 if you order it online. I...
Just ordered one! I always enjoy your videos, you guys are the real deal and do an incredible job showing it! I've always had the dream of making real life, beginning to end hunting videos but don't know if I'll ever try to make them more than just "homemade" videos.

Depends on what your looking for with pictures. If you just want the fully developed velvet racks and into season I'd wait until August. If you want to watch the antlers sprout, develop, and shed velvet I'd say start running cameras over mineral or feeders the first of April. I don't use feeders...
