Sounds like the DNR really isnt wanting to give them any other option than the proven method. Urban bow hunting has worked well in all the Cities that have implemented them and the DNR makes money selling tags.

Hunting stands when the area was Hot and the wind was right. Having several stands for different wind directions. Not hunting a stand on the wrong wind. Sometimes a guy gets lucky!!

typically they get too big and woody/hard if planted too early. I shoot to have mine planted on July 25 give or take a few days.
