    Question on Gly

This was my first time, i talked to a few guys that swore by it. It seemed to work pretty well. I figured i could buy a bottle for $.97 and get a few applications out of it and if it didnt help i wouldnt be out much.

    Question on Gly

Update: It worked I stopped by Sunday 7 days after the application and the field was a nice yellow color. The broadleafs also were wilting so i deem this application a success.

I mixed 32 oz to 20gal of water, I also added roughly 3/4 cup of Dawn soap as a surfactant. I will be traveling this week for work so i will check it out this weekend to see if they rye has reacted at all. I sprayed it pretty heavy as well went over everything twice to ensure good coverage.

    Question on Gly

I sprayed about 2 acres or rye and random weeds today with 41% Gly. roughly 1.5 hrs after i sprayed the sky opened up and rained. Need opinions on decoy use

I also like to set the decoys within 5 yards of the blind, so if the bird hangs up 20-30 yards from the decoys they are still in range.

    Pressured birds

Agreed turkeys could care less about a blind as long as they are not shiny or flapping in the wind. try to set up in a known strutting area that you know the birds frequent often. Dont let the birds watch you set up the blind and decoys. and last as someone mentioned they have to be in the right...

    Timber Stand Improvment

Timber burns are way slower and easier than grass burns. A lot of times in the fire dept. we will let the grass burn to the timber and use a leaf blower to make a fire line. A steel tooth rake and or a leaf blower is your best friend when burning timber. You will have logs or piles that will...
