The crop years were set in the farm bill regulations. Dont rule yourself out...make the fsa office tell you that your not eligible. There is a special term called "conserving use" and you may qualify even if you don't have 4 crop years from the period. Ask them to check into it specifically...
FSA has changed the rules on seed cost some. Now they will only pay 50% on seed cost. They will ask for seperate bill for seed cost. They will be monitoring seed cost more closely. Seed cost will be determined by the mixture selected.
Over 60% of the crp acres nationwide will expire in next 3 years.... there will be annual signups each year to allow offers to fill those acres each year. So it will be interesting to see how supply/demand will affect incentives and rental rates adjustments for each of those signups.

CREP Is a special program between farm services agency and state agencies. Nrcs provides some of the technical planning assistance for fsa. Its actually part of crp program authority.

I have one and have found it very accurate with a well tuned bow. But if the bow is not tuned....you maybe disappointed.
One drawback is when you set pin for 40 yrds and deer walks in to 15....while your drawn. your have to start making some adjustments in your mind.

Nothing has been released at this point. Lots of chatter out there but it's all speculation at this point. Lots of new rules and policy to be updated before official changes are released. Interm manuals should be out by Julyish. Then things will start to roll out.
