The local co-op replaced a bunch of telephone poles recently and left the old ones on my farm, I'm wanting to build a tower blind out of some and was wondering if anyone had used telephone poles for this and had any pics or ideas.

That's not a bad price and trophy rocks do work good, but I can purchase 200 pounds of the mix I mentioned for around 50 bucks from MFA, this mix is just my preference

Trophy rocks are getting pretty expensive I think, i use dicalcium phosphate, trace mineral, crushed salt and dried molasses, works pretty good and can be bought much cheaper

Switched to hha last year, shot 4 deer with it, very nice not having to decide which pin to use and an uncluttered view, very well made sight and easy to sight in

I switched to an hha sight last year, will probably never go back to horizontal pins, hha is made in America also

Dragging would probably work, I would think as long as there is good seed to soil contact you would be ok

Glyphosate is the generic for roundup, any coop should have it, I burned mine after it died so I didn't have to disc thru all the dead grass

I should also add that after spraying and killing the grass, I burned it off, very easy to disc after that
