    Food Plot Question

Depending on how tall the grass is,I had good luck with killing it, broadcast brassicas, without mowing. That way the seed has a better chance at getting to the soil. I left the dead brome grass. Had good luck with rain, put down nitrogen right before a rain. Turned out great. Good luck

    CWD Question

I believe you do not have to go to a landfill. As I understand you can dispose of carcasses on your own property. As long as it is not a public area or public property IE Road ditches Etc..

    Timber Stand Improvment

I treated about half of what I have done so far. In areas I for sure wanted them dead ,I treated them. Amazing I didn't realize how many Hackberry I have, until I started cutting them.

    Winter rye question

That didn't take long! I would love a smokeless muzzleloader, not an option right now. What about frost seeding switch into the rye now? Would it make it competing with the rye or would I have to kill the rye before the switch germinates?

    Winter rye question

It it's about 300 yards long, in my effective range is about 200 yards. So you see my problem they like that last 100...

    Opinions on scent control

I used to be fanatical about scent control. As my hunting time lessened with three kids, my my scent control routine definitely went downhill. Obviously waiting for the right wind, entry and exit routes are extremely important. One thing I know for sure evercalm has has made a difference for me...

    New bullet and load

Like others have said sounds like you hit her above the spine for some reason. I did the same thing a couple years ago. Doe Drop Like a Rock, to my disbelief she gets up 30 seconds later and walks off. Didn't know I needed a second shot. Shot her a week later didn't know it was her till I...
