East and South East of the pond are where most of the deer are shot during shotgun season. I'm definitely leaning to both of the spots currently. Planning on hunting Sunday as well so we'll see, wind looks to be from SW so those spots might not work...:(

I've been wondering the same thing, sorry I'm not much help since I don't have it. When I rattle, I'm just gonna use actual antlers, kinda hesitant about fake rattling setups

This is a very good thread. I am going to be hunting some river bottoms that have a north facing slight ridge that leads up to CRP grass field. I've seen deer here every year I have been shotgun hunting.
