Which solar panel are you running? It’s the latest version, “Sun and Shade Solar Power Bank - Model PW-003” that works the best. Also, use the brown tipped cord, not the yellow one. Set the panel vertical.

Re CuddeLink — running 24 cams on the network, unlimited pics for $360/year ($1.25 per cam per month). New solar panels are amazing. Ran on one set of batteries all year last year. This year I’m testing a couple cams with no batteries.

Our farm is covered with OO. I’ve seen deer eat the hedge apples. If you cut a tree to at ankle height, it creates an incredible mineral stump that they will hammer for about two years (then you have a spiny mess [emoji846]). Deer University (Mississippi State) mentioned them on their podcast on...
I attended those meetings. They were hesitant to give specific reason. And seemed to really downplay predator impact. They talked about the long-term downward trend in NW Iowa and really seemed baffled to give reason.
We had EHD in the area, but only found one dead deer in a pond on our farm...
No worries. I appreciate the question. I suppose there could be. But for places where we didn’t have mineral on the ground before, I don’t see any sign of the deer pawing at it, like you do when it’s on the ground. All but one of our stations are more than 200+yards from a stand.
This year, I kept the mineral in 2’x3’x8” plastic tubs.
Also used Purina Wind and Rain mixed with a bunch of molasses and some garlic. Deer visited, but not as much as last year. But last year I mixed in some salt, too.

Just noting that we just pulled all our mineral on Aug 31 to give 30 days respite before season. When do the rest of you pull it?

Thanks. This one looks like it’s $2k. https://www.rambobikes.com/products/ranger?variant=41311963316359 Or are you running a special? [emoji846]

I hunt just east in Cass and Adams counties. The EHD was hit hard, but as also a bit spotty. No sign on one of our farms, but 3 miles away got hammered. Hopefully your lease got skipped.

Yesterdays project. We have 3 other 110 gal tanks in the ground. In the past 4 years, we”ve only had to top off one time. I have been pretty surprised with the drought and all. We fill it with well water.
