Hav'nt been to IL to hunt yet, but i have in Northern Missouri,Nebraska,and South Dakota and had good luck at all. But I was always on private land. Its great going to other states and hunting, but nothing beats being at home in IOWA!

I suppose, but they would have to do it after they poach two does, other wise they would lose the buck. When I've done this, it was on someone elses boat and we used four lights. They worked great, caught alot of eyes, and when the white bass moved in it was none stop.

Sad to hear, but it could have been worse. Good reminder to all to buckle up.

You need to let them dry for at least a month to two months, before you do any finishing work. Look around your eyes,nose and lips for cracks. (give it a year and you will) I was just giving these guys some tips to look out for, if your going to mount something may as well have it done right so...

If your getting it back in 1-3 months you need to find a better taxidermist. Otherwise don't look for it to last very many years before it starts to fall apart.
