The fanatic series is great but very warm. You won't use it unless its below 30ish.
I had the 2010 stratus set and it was loud and not that warm. The 2011 stratus was made with the same outer material as the fanatic so sitka fixed that issue.

That stinks, been hunting SE Nebraska for 12 years and the population is way down already compared to 10 years ago. Blue tongue hit my spot a couple years ago so the 3.5 and 4.5 year age class is already in short supply.
Not really. It looks that way from the numbers but the numbers don't show the guys just buying points. I didn't draw with 2 pts and this has never happened to us before.

Carter makes great releases and you can usually find a good used one in the archerytalk classifieds. I bought a like new Simple 1 off there for $120. I'll be hunting with it this fall
Also, back tension is a technique not a release type. I shoot my Simple 1 using back tension.
They use to draw around June 20th then they started drawing around July 15-20th. Last year I think it was about July 10th.
So there is no set in stone date.
