Not quite... You can hunt all you want during late muzzy with a bow and not have a bow tag. You can use your bow to fill a Late Muzzy tag, but you can't use your bow to fill an Early Muzzy tag. Daver pretty much nailed it. Page 25 of the regs would be a good place to start if you are...

A TSI project that I did 2-3 years ago required that I leave shagbarks over 9" DBH and it was because of bat nesting. Didn't love that but whatever. I might have accidently whacked a few bigger shaggies. :D There is some timber value there, so keep that in mind.

I agree the 2200 is too big for what I want. I'm looking at the superday and the hornhunter MAQ pack with the quiver. Anything he doesn't like about the superday?
