Not a fan of deer farms. Do you guys gush over those fake deer heads they have hanging in Scheels and Sportsmans Warehouse?
I can only think of one thing (well two) where fakes are better than the real thing. :drink1:
Not exactly right - You can get a combination that would allow 2 anysex gun tags.
You can get your Any Sex Bow, Any Sex Late Muzzy and get Land Owner Any Sex Shotgun.
Just for the record... I would fight tooth and nail if legislators ever tried to take away the LOT Anysex Tag.
6'1" 225lbs. Don't mess with me.
This... is... AWESOME!!
BTW, my dad is tougher than yours, my truck is cooler/more badass than yours, and your mama is ugly. :drink1:
This kind of brings up an interesting scenario.
Say a tenant farmer rents 80 acres of farm ground from a land owner. The land owner hunts this land so in his lease agreement he does not grant hunting rights to the tenant farmer, yet the tenant farmer stills qualifies for a landowner/tenant...
Yeah, Iowa as a whole only has 5.6% timber but the really good hunting areas have a significantly higher percentage of cover. This is a little misleading as there are parts of the state that hardly has a tree and other areas that are dominated by timber and cover.
Are the places in Iowa that...
For me personaly, the customer service, wether its retail store, web based or through the catalog has been second to none. Impressive really.
I think for this arguement you need to make the distinction between the "foremost outfitter" and the "foremost bank."
I haven't had any problems...
Hire an accountant that owns a farm. Thats what I did. Well worth it in my opinion. :drink1:
If you rent out your ground you use the 4835 form if you actually are the operator of the farm you use Schedule F form.
Skip,
How many acres do you own now? How are the acres split up with timber and tillable and whats the neihboring properties like?
How many acres do you think it takes per mature buck? (How close will they tolerate being next to another mature deer?)
HCH,
Shouldn't you be building a miniture titanium port-a-potty or an aircraft grade aluminum grunt tube/emergency radio for your public land adventures?
I don't think very many if any land owners in my area would do this. They either hunt it themselves (and friends/family) or let someone else hunt it, knowing exactly who is on their land. I can't see to many landowners being ok with not knowing who was using their land.
Uh yeah, thats like the Packers asking the 49ers for advice on their passing game. :drink1:
Whats wrong with Iowa leading the way/setting the bar in whitetail hunting and herd management? Granted we don't love every reg and decision by the DNR but we do have a pretty good thing going here...
Well said Randy. :way:
Much of that respect and clout that the IBA has is because they have demonstrated a history of being resonable and looking out for the greater good and our hunting heritage as a whole - today AND TOMORROW.
Sometimes its a give and take.
There will be other bills...
Really?

So what is the IBA's stance on this bill?
Till we get a significant number of members to respond, we don't have a stance.

This shows pretty clearly that the IBA gave people a...
