I sat in an old faithful stand starting about 4:15. The first deer was a nice 10 point I guessed to be in the 140's...
I have to agree, I get pic of the farmers and neighbors cutting wood, I have had a picture of the farmer drive by with his tractor and trailer. Then an hour later a nice buck.
Today I even took the yorkiepoo out to check cameras, they run coon hounds so they also know that smell.
Of course...

To me comparing a flash picture to IR is like comparing apples to oranges.
I use IR's and will live some blurry pictures because I also have some great IR shots of bucks with no blur. I use my cameras for knowing what is in the area.
It is all personal preference, plus IR is supposed to be...
Depending where you go they all say they are superior :)
I have to 2 Stealth Cams (both IR models) and one Moultrie M-100. They all 3 take great day and night pictures. Biggest thing I see with any cameras is setting them so they get the maximum coverage of the area they are watching.
I do...
I bought a camera and have been giving it a try - I found a great scrape to set it on and all I have gotten to date is the average man's bucks
The one farthest from the camera is on the scrape.
Just had to share my future wall mounters

One of the fun options with that camera set up.
As for me I just upgraded to the new Apple Macintosh IMAC 20".
I have been a Mac person since my first computer.
The nice thing is you get the speed and easy to use Mac. With the new Intel chip you can also load Windows XP using a program called boot camp and actually boot into Windows (if...
It is well worth it. Not a lot of prep time and the deer and noodles you can make with the meat.
I can it in quarts - takes about 12 pounds of meat for 7 quarts of finsihed.
leaving for work now - will try to add more input when I get off tonight.

What I do is keep a scrapbook of my outdoor activities.
A 12" x 12" album that can be bought at any Scrapbook store. You can mount the pictures in it and have plenty of room to record details and stories of the hunt.
It will turn into a "brag" book and everyone I show it to wishes they...
What I do in Linn County is hunt a stand in between feeding and bedding. i always see a lot of deer but never the larger mature bucks.
It is tough for me becuase I have to walk across an open field to get to the timber but it does not seem to bother them.
I just get in a half hour before...
