    DSD Strutter/before & after pics

Shredder, My style of bow hunting birds is a lot of work, but I get a kick out it. It is a lot of work using 4-6 Lone Wolf sticks and a Alpha hangon, setting up and carrying out EACH and EVERY hunt, but I get a kick out of that too. It usually brings me great success at either killing or seeing...

    DSD Strutter/before & after pics

They are getting a make over, from what I hear. I did a review on mine last year, posted pics of my mods, and Mike Sohms(is that right?)came on my AT in my thread, thanked me for the review , and he read where guys wanted the pack perfect. I made mine that way....I had to. Yea, the Huntmore...

This is nothing...cake walk buddy.... And I am older then u! The above setup is so easy, GIECO could do it. The secret is how well the pack carries all my gear secure and compressed to the pack. This Sept., Lord willing and the Creek doesn't rise, I plan on having a much heavier load hiking back...

    DSD Strutter/before & after pics

Muddy Buddy, here is what I do. Works great for me. I've tried everything under the sun. Here is a Magnus rack pack/combo chair and back pack. Expensive, but worth EVERY penny imo. The pack has load lifters, adjustable waist belt, adjustable shoulder straps, and is basically setup like a cargo...

Prob 10-11 lbs. My Magnus Rack chair has shoulder straps. You have to carry a blind, don't you carry it on a back pack of some kind?

    DSD transportation

The bags are designed to make the same sound as a hen turkey scraping leaves in the woods. I read it in last months cosmo. :D

I do know that the bolt should be longer. I can see where it may get old, dealing with that attachment. I like my pretty boy slot of just dropping it in.

Box says 12 lbs on the mailing label. Pretty light, compared to a pack a guy carries while elk hunting;)

I picked this up last night at Scheels in Des Moines. I couldn't wait to see him setup, so after my 6 am Men's group at my church, I decided to set him up quickly, and show you guys what he looks like. Before I added my tail and wing feathers. For those with no real turkey parts, Dave Smith's...

    DSD transportation

I use the bags they came with, then place them all in a HUGE camo mesh waterfowl deke bag. These are expensive, and I want to take excellent care of them. I secure them to my Magnus Rack Attack chair with a cargo net. I just got the Strutter last night. Man is he a good looking deke. The tail...

Ice still 5-6" at Ada Hayden

Caught these today. Shorelines are opening, but still plenty of ice for those that can't afford to drive to Spirit Lake. Better hurry though.

    AR Help?

I have a DPMS .LR .308. Keep it! They are tack drivers, low recoil, and perfect for late season anterless or predator hunting....not to mention for zombie hunting when the world's infrastructure collapses. Get the best glass you can afford, or are willing to spend.

    DSD May have some Competition

Thanks for the info....but if I ever ditch my DSD's, guys on here taught me that real decoys are a joke, and all you need is kingsford charcoal bag.:thrwrck: Yea, I wouldn't want to blow a deke up, DSD's are still the king.

My DIY flag/warm floor/hotel on ice

Thanks! Those qf3's are an excellent shelter. Any hub that is facing a heavy wind, should be staked out at the hub. I place either 72" inch nose into the wind on this qf6, and anchor with a 6" lag. When I set it up, I immediately do this, so I dont let the wind damage or blow my shelter away.
