Injure deer? should everyone take their fence down for livestock and around their yards and trees because it could injure deer? if a buck gets its rack caught then maybe it would get injured but leave the guy alone. I think it would be just as rewarding to find one in a shed trap as it would be...
Yea what are the clear rules here? What if you hit a buck with bow dont find it til shotgun season can you put your bow tag on it? Can you put a shotgun tag on it or does it need a salvage tag. Obviously the meat will be no good. The only thing that would be worth taking is the head.
Awesome love the old barn boards. I would like to line the basement walls some day. Makes all the deer heads, racks, skulls, sheds looks way better and rustic. Good work show some pics of where you hang it!
Yea so now your going to have just as many hunters all trying to get permission for the same peice of property. A property that has probably been managed, but with overwhelming pressure will soon be decimated. The DNR couldnt manage the pheasant population and they are gone in a few years the...
Got a txt tonight looks like tall heavy main frame 9 pter no way it goes state record as a main 9 looks like it will gross 190's though maybe has some extra stickers. Sent from confirmed person living in Peru Truro area.
That Big Buck from Allamakee is on KQ98.com BiG Buck contest along with a ton of other bruisers free to the public all the bucks however are shot in the tri state area
I believe it has a little bit to do with where they live and where they rub. Obviously the sun will bleach them white as you always see most winter bucks with white racks before they shed. We have alot of crp with pines but most of those bucks have white racks by now I think its because they...
A muzzy in a fawn should be game over wherever you hit it haha. Mx3 are all I shoot last 3 bucks havent made it more than 50 yds. Dont leave as big of blood trail, but when you watch em drop dont need a blood trail!
Well, I dont mind another hunters in our hunting areas as long as you can trust them and know they wont ruin your hunt and have the same ethics and beliefs. Knowing Quality Deer Management is also a plus. Last year we walk in a woods to trim stands and there is a stand 10 yds away. That is just...
lotta small bucks chasing, few mature bucks moving during daylight should be reall good the next week or so and continue after that off and on probably havnt missed much yet
Thanks for all of the complements. I dont think either of us will ever forget that day it is always something you think about when your in the woods, but never really anticipating it happening. We are both very greatful and wish everyone the best of luck this season!
