I've been working on over grown cedars thickets a lot - cutting lower limbs and piling them up has really helped. I haven't gotten to the point of actually dropping many trees because they're still piled in there too tight. Thought about girdling some but the skeletons would still stand. Also...

I'm reading today and learning solar isn't in the works... would take way too many panels to maintain enough battery power to run a 12v trolling motor on low nonstop
Windmill is a better option! I've found a number of windmills that pump air and are used to aerate ponds. Now be nice to find...
I'm thinking trolling motor hooked up to a 12v battery and then have a solar setup large enough to charge the battery... anyone know anything about solar?? I'd be running the trolling motor on the lowest possible setting. Seeing some old trolling motors on FB Marketplace for $50. Estimate 12...

I see them ranging in price from $50 - a few...
Here's what I've been doing...
Started with removing lower limbs so I can walk through without bending over. Then taking the downed limbs and making piles so you're not tripping on them. Next step is to girdle some trees to let sunlight in and others areas I'm dropping trees, cutting them up...
