I shot this buck in Jasper county during first shotgun season last year.

Nailed a doe at 168 yards last year and shot my buck at 146 yards, both dropped where they stood. I did retrieve my slug out of the buck, pretty cool to see those winchester plantuim tip slugs open up.

I carry a Taurus raging bull .480ruger during the shotgun season. I have it sighted in at 100 yards. I have no problem with taking a shot out too 125 - 135 yards. I have dropped both deer that I shot at with this gun.
