What do you burn it down with before your fall planting? Do you find crimson easier to kill than other clovers? Some of them can be tough!

I've done this exact thing in tubs with the cone-tainers and for most oaks it is the best way hands down. That said, seems like chestnuts dont respond well to it. Interested to hear how it works for you!

Dont know your situation or goals, but at quick glance you might end up doing more harm to your hunting than good. Oats and some clovers should do well, you still need SOME sunlight if you do it though. Most likely going to need lime as well

What's the idea behind adding liberty and 24D? Some weeds building 24D tolerance? I haven't encountered any broadleaf that 24D wont nuke but I'm sure they exist.
