Sold my rifle so I'm left with some ammo and once fired brass.
I have 100 rounds of 95gr SST Hornady Superformance ammo ($100) and about 160 once fired brass cases (mostly Hornady match, also 20 remington and 20 winchester). $30
I'll let the ammo and brass go together @ $125. If you buy the...
Hardly a sight to be seen better than a strutting tom turkey. The last few years I've favored golf instead of turkey hunting. I saw quite a few birds in the deer stand this year so maybe I'll try my hand at it again.
He looks pretty good for a first time mount! I think the eyes swept completely back looks a little weird on that pose, would rather see them to the side of the head like he's listening for something since that's sort of an alert pose.

I picked up some 68 gr HP ultramax ammo to see if the 1-9 would stabilize the bullets. I also have some 75 gr bthp hornady bullets I plan to load up as well. Seems like its still fairly hard to find the heavier .224 bullets online yet
I'm wanting to put together a heavier load than the standard 55gr for my AR. I'm running a 16" barrel with a 1-9 twist. I'm wondering what others successes are with various bullet weights over 60gr.
I may end up taking the gun to WY to hunt antelope (.22 centerfires need to have more than...
