Impossible to say. "Thought" he hit high so could be liver, guts, above spine etc. But, if he laid up its likely not above spine. Id give him 24 hours then grid search. Blood color is so subjective it is almost a non issue sometimes. Bedding quick though tells me more. Good luck.
