Light rain can be great...heavy not so great

I inadvertently do this every year! Seems to have no negative noticeable effects. We hunt the first night clean and as scent free as possible. We then start the wood stove and smell like smoke for the rest of the weekend. We stay at the same primitive cabin and still see plenty of deer each...

Just was in the same boat, found two embedded for approx 24 hrs....freaked out and pulled them off. Went and got doxycycline 10 day treatment for 10 days...cost was $39, WAY better to error on the side of caution...get the antibiotic, IMO

We enjoyed staying at the natural gait (before we bought). If u stayed at the lower gait it would give you the option of fishing the yellow river also. Fair warning, I don't think they have tv's!

Look up Andy Mountain Cabins or The Natural Gait, they are in and around the yellow river state forest, just down the road from my cabin! I've never trout fished lil paint, but get a kick out of driving through the streams!

Its good to have optimism, but.....it only takes a very small percentage of hunters (who don't share the same values) that can decimate area numbers. I see it every year. Their is a big difference between being a hunter, and being a shooter. A hunter hunts deer for the experience and enjoyment...
