Went out last night, had bucks cruising throughout the timber...coming from different directions and cruising....they r definitely moving in eastern Iowa.

Hunted ne Iowa hard all weekend...almost no daytime movement, no chasing...had a few young bucks following does at last light, very slow compared to last year for me

Out from 2:30 til dark, deer working their way through the timber and milling around me..no real chasing but watched a eight work a scrape and licking branch for about 20 minutes at 10 yds...first shot ever at a yote...awesome night in the woods

Lone wolf climber has worked best for me, will use it til the day my body won't allow it. Mobile hunting keeps it fresh and I can almost always find a tree that will work.

Out tonight, very little movement...a couple basket eight racks and a gazillion turkeys at last light. Peaceful night in the woods.

Sat several hours tonight, saw deer moving at 4:40 in deep timber. I would still give it a go, hunt when u can.

Sat tonight in the rain and wind! First time out this year. Saw several does and 1 decent eight...he got the pass, but after he went by I second guessed his size! Movement was great and the rain and wind had zero affect.

Out this morning and saw nothing in ne iowa. Saturday was much better with numerous does morning and evening, had a 140ish running through the timber with a forkhorn around 9 am.

Driving in to work on hwy 30 by Clinton I saw a 150 ish standing 30 yards from the highway in the wide open...roughly 1640 hrs on monday. Gets a guy feeling sick, cough cough.
