When are you guys spraying your frost seeded switch? I frost seeded some switch the first part of march and then tilled some ground the last days in march that are gonna be put into clover. I want to let them weeds grow up in that tilled ground before I plant so I can spray and get rid of them...

    Wanted 2 Row Corn Planter

I am guessing they are wanting to trailer them. I use a 2 row simply because it is a lot easier to load on a trailer with a tractor and take off then having to try and load a 4 row. There is a guy out of Lacona iowa that sells them that is where I bought mine. When I sold my farm the deal was...

    Rent Contract?

I am no expert by any means, but the way I have always understood is that if a renter pays to farm the ground then he is the controlling operator of the ground. Which I think means he has the farming rights, hunting rights, and say who hunts it. I think that is what is commom in an ordinary good...

I'm not trying to take any work away from any lawyers here, but I was wondering if any of you guys have renter contracts that you have your renting farmer sign that lets you keep hunting rights on the farm? I couldn't wait !

Have you ever tried browning them a little but not cooking all the way and then stick them in the freezer? I have an uncle who does this and he says it holds the flavor better than dehydrating them. I always want to try and keep a few for later on in the year but I always seem to eat them:D

    AR Help?

Thanks for the replies. I have been doing a lot of looking and think that I want to go with a Tromix shark muzzle break. It just has the standard flash guard on it now. I am wondering about a buttstock. What can I get to make the butt of the gun longer? It feels short when I hold it up now but I...

    AR Help?

So I was the lucky guy that won an AR at a pheasants forever banquet. Now I need help. I have very little money invested in it so I figured I might as well spend a little on it to set it up right. It is a DPMS LR308T. I just want to know what you guys would do if it was your gun? I know a lot...

    What to Plant??

Clover is always a good early season plot. DBLTREE has a lot of good ideas with what he does. I would suggest to not put it all into 1 thing but to get as many different things in as you can so the deer will use it all year. I would personally do a mix of clover, tunips, and some other cover...

    Found, or harvested?

I have killed three bucks between 160-164. I have found seven sheds between 70-75 inches. So I guess you could say I am stuck around that 70 inch antler whether it be killing the deer or finding the sheds.

    Anyone hunted Antelope?

There arent near as many hunters as you would think. I think I have seen 3 different trucks at most one year. There are a few good watering holes or little ponds but the thing is you have to do a little exploring to find them. I was lucky enough to get in with a group that had gone years before...

    Anyone hunted Antelope?

I think you have to prove that you had an archery tag from your state though otherwise you have to take a class.

    Anyone hunted Antelope?

They are a draw system but I have never not been drawn. They never sell out of tags. You can apply and have a tag within a weeks time too.

    Anyone hunted Antelope?

I have gone a few times out to Edgemont, South Dakota. This is probably the cheapest route you will find but it is totally self guided. There are literally a million acres to hunt. It is all either public or walk in areas. The best way to do it is around sept 20th (that is the Nov 8th of...
