Heading up tomorrow for a 3 day weekend. Has anyone been up lately? I was just wondering how the bite was and if they were catching any fish. We are bringing our wives this year so hopefully we can hook into a few to keep them intrested.

go to a local co-op and ask them if they have any year old corn. A lot of places plant test plots or rip a bag or have something happen that leaves them with a half a bag of corn or two that they will sell for cheap.

What do you guys know about it? I hear they are selling it off piece by piece and wanted to know if any one on here hunts around it. Is it as good as I hear it is or are they just blowing smoke?

There are a lot of close guesses!! He grossed 196 6/8 and netted 191 1/8 non typical (green score of course). That goes to show people though that it takes one heck of a buck to make 200. Imagine what the guesses would be if you seen that guy running at 150 yards or if he ran out infront of you...

O yeah i forgot it is also the new state record bow kill and has been shot in 4 different counties and that is all in just the first week and a half :rolleyes:

I had the same scenario earlier this year. I hit him in the shoulder it ran down his leg and shattered the whole thing. 4 days later I found him laying in a crick with a broken leg. Keep looking if you dont look you cant find him.
