They have not been thinner in my time here. Tags were reduced to one either sex. Most parts of the province even had the length of the season cut almost in half along with the tag reduction. Does and fawns seem almost non existent. GladI got drawn for a highly coveted southern zone moose tag...

I seem to have a good supply of younger bucks. Hopefully a couple of these are still kicking down the road a couple years when my oldest is able to hunt. This year class seems to have wintered better than all of the rest.

That was my very first thought. lol And he lost the small g4 on the right side.

This is the buck last year. I am hoping it is the same buck simply because the number of older bucks is sure small compared to other years.
