I actually just bought the Black Ice. It definately is a sweet bow. While I didn't shoot it next to the Guardian or the Switchback, my buddy shoots a Switchback and said it's the same bow.

Bought the new Diamond Black Ice tonight. Shot it next to the 06 Allegiance and Old Glory. While I lost a little on speed, I felt I gained a lot on Smoothness. I have a 30" draw and maxed it out with a hair over 70lbs. Makes my old bow sound like a chainsaw.

That is what I was thinking. I shot some BowTech's tonight and they are way faster than what I'm shooting now.

alright, i don't wanna get anyone fired up, but a buddy I know and trust says BowTech's lose 25 fps in cold weather. Just Curious your feelings.

I'm been reading your posts and like what I'm hearing so far. Just curious what you all think about the other models by BowTech, such as the Allegiance and the Equalizer.

I'm going to buy a new bow and wanted a little feedback. I'm interested in a Fred Bear The Truth, or a BowTech. If you currently own one of these please help me out. I want a good bow, but don't want to paying for the name like I would with a Matthews or Hoyt. Any info would be appreciated...
