X2 I've had this happen one time; didn't shoot primer after cleaning

Could just be a nuance of the brand or gun in particular. Several years ago my Father had a Franchi; never shot slugs through it but it was the most finicky gun I have ever seen as far as cycling different loads of shotshells. It was also a very beautiful gun.

Tink's makes a product called Starlight Bloodhound, that when sprayed on blood causes it to glow a flourescent blue color. Works better the darker it is, but there again may not help if you can't see the blue. I would not hesitate to help anyone out including someone I just bumped into so that...
