same here, numbers down some but not real bad, just not hardly any mature bucks. i took a freezer filler, we had the slowest year in 18 years.

i delete my doe and small buck pics at the end of season when i wont be trying to see where and when the deer are moving.

i have one of those buck boiler buckets for boiling skulls, it works pretty good. i can cut the head off the deer, put skin and all in the bucket and plug it in for about 10hrs. (about 6 hrs. if you skin it) and pull it out and everything falls off and i wash it off good (a little brushing) and...

for the first time ever i am hunting late season muzzy, i got a traditions pursute break open with scope and i have shot it a few times, question is after a hunt and i get back to the pickup, what do i do to "unload" it? thanks

wow! u guys get out way more than me! i did 26 hrs. this year and that about 8 hrs. more than last year. between 3 kids and a wife (who doesnt think i need to hunt) its hard to get much more than that in.

we finally got all our deer all together and got a pic of the bucks we have shot over the 18 years of hunting 1st season together. we were missing 1 person in the pic, usually we have 7.

i think if we start a shotgun forum then there should be a bow forum, a muzzy forum, and on and on, it all should just stay under the same place in my opinion

this is the only nice buck we got and really the only one we seen. i have had pics of him since july and thought my dad or i would connect on him with bow, but we didnt, dad got him on sunday with the shotgun!

in monona county we noticed the numbers were down, not way bad but down, it was the worst we have done in the 18 years of going 1st season, we had 6 guys and got 2 bucks and 2 does. the doe and dink buck numbers werent 2 bad but hardly saw any mature bucks. i am sure the warm weather didnt help...
