    muddys real time turkey tips

been following tip #2 for a few years now, just make sure when you get the wipes look close at the box and make sure they dont have the alcohol in them, maybe they done even make those any more....made the mistake once and if it's during an "EE" in the field the alcohol ones will "set you free"..

    Cold weather clothes

i have to agree with the heater body suit, it is a little cumbersome to get into when im in the summit but well worth it. i just leave the straps off and if something is coming i can unzip it and stand out of it...works great though

    Staying positive

i always tell myself that any time im in the woods one can come walking. its been slow here in north wis too but again flooding , high wind and rain not real conducive to good movement. i know its going to get better, but i guess im being optimistic cuz i have an Iowa tag and im leaving sunday...

    At what height?

i use a summit viper only and i climb it until i feel a little fidgety than i stop, sometimes its 18 to 20 ft sometimes it 10 to 15...also depends on the situation. if i can get into a tree with a lot of cover around it i wont go as high. my honey hole stand is only about 10 ft off the ground...
