Good day, saw three 4 or 5 year old bucks this am out cruising and one was limping badly. So I went this evening in same spot looking for the buck that caused the damage and I saw a new buck in the 160s that I will be chasing. Alot of small bucks wondering around but the deer are moving good...

Not enough clothes on perched in a tree at top of open ridge. Saw small buck chasing does and then at 9:00 a 140ish 10 pt joined the group. Only chased for a little while then wandered off. Haven't seen nothing big so far this year. West Central Iowa.

Looks like 3 to me but I would be excited to have him on my place.

I would guess 4 myself.

I switched to browning's strike force 2 years ago and I love the new strike force HD Pro. I haven't tried all the other camera's but I have used a few but these have been really reliable, good price and battery life.

Know of a farmer who sprayed for multi flower rose by plane on his rented land and killed every oak on it, left just the elms and other worthless trees. Don' t know what he used. If it will kill honeysuckle think it would damage trees. He did it during the summer when the trees had leaves ouit.

I use to take the 3rd or 4th thru the 10th or 11th off but I always started seeing the better bucks at the end of my week off so now I start around the 6th or 7th and go to the 14th or so. Has been working lately and usually get some cooler weather.

Minimum is 5.5.

I would pass, I don't like shooting big deer with broken racks, look for the deer that broke his rack.

You have to lease or pay to hunt.
