    Radish and Turnip Growth?

It seems like our plots look pretty similar as far as germination being thick and thin in some places. Your plots are definitely looking better as far as weed control. I always enjoy seeing comparisons to give me an idea on how things should look. Hopefully they keep growing away! Thanks for...

    Radish and Turnip Growth?

This was my second planting this year after the drowned out. I went a little heavy on seed the second go around since I had poor germination. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Not all areas in the plot are as thick as the picture above so I am going to hope for the best. In...

    Cereal Grains and cover crops

Thanks for the input! Maybe what is best is to plant clover next spring and see how things go. Worst case I can always til under and plant beans. They have flooded before and came back without any problem. What I have learned for sure is that brassicas do not do well in super wet conditions...

    Cereal Grains and cover crops

Would rye, oat, and peas be very water tolerant? We have some bottom ground that we plot that has went under water the last two years and I'm curious as to what would be water tolerant for this plot? Clover perhaps? Last year was beans and they bounced back but it seems like the brassicas...

    Brassicas

How Much is too much rain for young brassica plants? It looks like we got about 3", these were planted on 8/8. I am assuming they are toast but looking for input.

    does

Ran into the same thing this year as well. This particular camera was my go to last year and never disappointed. Had does, does, and more does. Only to find out the other camera 1/2 mile away had all the bucks. The crop rotation on my farm has them moved around as they are hanging out in the corn.

    Brassicas

Damn rain wiped most of this plot out! Good thing I planted early and can re seed the spots that had water sitting on them. No doubt the ground will have moisture for the new seed. The one spot that did not have water the brassicas are coming in well, a little spotty but I would imagine it...

    Brassicas

With all this rain this week and brassica's planted on 6/18. Do you think they will be drowned out or thriving? We did not have much rain on them the first week but the last couple of days have yielded about 3" of rain. Thoughts?

Banks Blind 3 with Bench Seat

Ok all. I have several members interested in the blind, as mentioned I still will need to take the blind down from my farm. I am planning on running down there on the 8th of August to get the blind. At this point since I have had so many responses it will come down to who can meet with me that...

With the amount of rain prior to planting, you think that is enough to get them started?
