    2003 Gobbler mount

I shot this gobbler w/my bow 4-14-03...and just picked him up the other day. Seems like a long time for a turkey, seeing as though I get my deer shoulder mounts back in 9-10 months. Anyhow I thought he turned out pretty good, though I wish I'd have done a full body now. It sure brings back a...

    Just Curious is All

I do 95% of my stand prepping in Feb, March, and April. Always trying to clear 4 generous shooting lanes when possible (one in every direction). Most of the areas we hunt are extremely thick so lanes must be opened during the off-season. We also take the time to remove all trimmed branches/trees...

    caring for binoculars...

I use a lens pen also. You definitely need to use some type of lens brush to remove the dust and grit that accumulates. Cabela's has them for a reasonable price.

    Bobcats

We saw a bobcat about a month ago in Lucas county. It stopped about 25 yards away,I was suprised at it's size and how powerful it looked. Just as soon not have them critters roaming the woods...looks like they would put a hurtin' on everything in the woods.

    Tick magnet

Jason, I agree with LittleJ that you probably pulled the body off and left the head in. It wouldn't hurt to have it looked at, though I believe Lyme disease is rarely found around here. I always carry a book of matches in my daypack in case a tick gets embedded in my skin. Touched with the hot...

Who do you pay attention to?

I've always liked Bill Winke's articles and love the passion that Stan Potts brings to the sport. Also, the Kisky videos are great. However, like mentioned before, I've probably learned the most from my own mistakes.

Way to go Limb! Nice pic and great shot . Speaking of misses, I've got two arrows off so far...one was a 'air ball' and the other, last night, got me a handful of feathers . Can I get a mulligan? I feel like I got the shanks
