Obviously there is alot more that goes into these hunts then G6 considers (I take it you are not a parent?). I mean noting by that, I just know folks here who don't have kids and they tend to look at things differently from most parents. Nothing wrong with it.
I have 2 little girls 10 and...
Hey Fawnkid - congrats.
Is that a Trojan baseball uniform your wearin in your pic? If so that brings back some memories. I wore the #20 and played SS years ago (we won't talk about how many).
Congrats again and good luck witht he rest of the season!!!
I make my own boards and mount my own fans. This is an eastern/merriam hybrid from North Dakota. I like them because you can hang several beards on each mount. I am in the process of putting all my spurs on leather strands with beads. Not sure how I'll incorporate them into the fan mounts.
Just talked to Winner's Choice - set of string and cable for my outback is 108.15 which includes shipping and handling. And this is constructed of the 8125 material. This is only on a direct order through Winner's Choice. The tech guy also said something very interesting - he said do not order...
Congratulations to the both of you. What a testimant to your patience and willingness to give your time Ghost. My hat is off to both of you. Great first deer Little Miss Ghost.
I have two little girls and I can't wait until that day comes for us. They love to go with me, just waiting for...
Just talked to the folks at Vapor Trail. The man told me he could get me a set in one day and the cost would be 69.00 which includes shipping and handling. I did'nt realize that they had been around for about 15 years. They actually made the stings and cables for Bowtech until Bowtech went to...
I am in the process of buying an aftermarket string and cable for my '05 Outback. I just went to a site to price Winner's Choice and the set was $87.00 - not sure if it's the same string and cable you are talking about, this is the description listed below:
409-40, Winners Choice Mathews...
Had a great hunt on the opening day of teal season. 4 of us went and had a blast. We all managed to get a limit. Sporty shooting for those of you who have'nt tried it.

Hey guys thanks for all the insight. Rudd your info was an eye opener.
I wish I could jsut get rid of the problem, i.e. get a different bow - but money is a major issue especially since I dropped a large sum on this bow to start with.
Well here's the latest scoop.
I e-mailed the tech at...
As most of you know I purchased a Mathews Outback last year and was fairly pleased with the performance. This year, however is a completely different story.
I began shooting a good bit several weeks ago and after a couple weeks of shooting I began to notice the consistency of the arrow...
EHD is a viral disease spread by biting insects and the acute form usually occurs in the summer here in MS - I'm sure it's the same there. Typically the deer will exhibit a swelled head, neck and tongue. As mentioned is a previous post the lungs will be hemorrhagic or "wet" and there may be...
Hey Rackaddict - I noticed you said "without the string dampeners"
Did you simply take them out or did you have to do something special?
I shoot an Outback as well and have always blamed the dampeners for making my bow just a little too noisy. I may be wrong but it's all I can think of that...
Like many of you - I just found this post. Only a few months behind.
I am a Certified Wildlife Biologist and work for a private non-profit wildlife organization in Mississippi. Have a great wife of 14 years and two beautiful little girls ages 10 and 8 who love to spend time in the outdoors...
Usually go to Texas, but considering Atlanta or Charlotte this year.
#18 fan but pulling hard for #6 as it's his last year and I wanna see him get one.
Your not on your own with your pick Matt - there are thousands of 14 year old girls and middle aged women pulling for the #24 car at every...
Silvertip - your right about the $50.00 Home for the Holidays tag - it's a great opportunity and I will probably take advantage of it one day.
What more do I want - well, it's been covered in other posts so to keep it short and sweet - as a NR I don't want to be lumped in with all the poachers...
