    19pt taken in Cedar county

Obviously there is alot more that goes into these hunts then G6 considers (I take it you are not a parent?). I mean noting by that, I just know folks here who don't have kids and they tend to look at things differently from most parents. Nothing wrong with it. I have 2 little girls 10 and...

    Turkey displays

I make my own boards and mount my own fans. This is an eastern/merriam hybrid from North Dakota. I like them because you can hang several beards on each mount. I am in the process of putting all my spurs on leather strands with beads. Not sure how I'll incorporate them into the fan mounts.

    Vaportrail strings

Just talked to Winner's Choice - set of string and cable for my outback is 108.15 which includes shipping and handling. And this is constructed of the 8125 material. This is only on a direct order through Winner's Choice. The tech guy also said something very interesting - he said do not order...

    Vaportrail strings

Just talked to the folks at Vapor Trail. The man told me he could get me a set in one day and the cost would be 69.00 which includes shipping and handling. I did'nt realize that they had been around for about 15 years. They actually made the stings and cables for Bowtech until Bowtech went to...

Hey guys thanks for all the insight. Rudd your info was an eye opener. I wish I could jsut get rid of the problem, i.e. get a different bow - but money is a major issue especially since I dropped a large sum on this bow to start with. Well here's the latest scoop. I e-mailed the tech at...

    Mathews Outback ???

As most of you know I purchased a Mathews Outback last year and was fairly pleased with the performance. This year, however is a completely different story. I began shooting a good bit several weeks ago and after a couple weeks of shooting I began to notice the consistency of the arrow...

    THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

EHD is a viral disease spread by biting insects and the acute form usually occurs in the summer here in MS - I'm sure it's the same there. Typically the deer will exhibit a swelled head, neck and tongue. As mentioned is a previous post the lungs will be hemorrhagic or "wet" and there may be...

    Bow "Roll Call"

Hey Rackaddict - I noticed you said "without the string dampeners" Did you simply take them out or did you have to do something special? I shoot an Outback as well and have always blamed the dampeners for making my bow just a little too noisy. I may be wrong but it's all I can think of that...

How many acres have you lost?

Silvertip - your right about the $50.00 Home for the Holidays tag - it's a great opportunity and I will probably take advantage of it one day. What more do I want - well, it's been covered in other posts so to keep it short and sweet - as a NR I don't want to be lumped in with all the poachers...
