    I pooped my pants.

A good cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich from any gas station is sure to give you some issues! Hardest part of it all is making sure you got a good enough lean so you don't accidentally drop a pile all over the back of your pants. Guy my dad works with did it, long cold ride in the back of...

    Rattling vs Grunting

Rattling seems to really get em goin at certain times and I agree that the grunt can close the distance of the buck. Works well when used together for me. Sometimes the doe bleet as well when the buck is just following and doesn't seem to care about the grunt.

    I like Tresspassers!!!!!!

I wish the neighbor would get his 4 wheeler stuck so we could get it! I always hear him just haven't caught him on it yet.

What is with people these days

Really does stink that people can't have respect for others things. Even when you are on private land it doesn't always work. I was hunting a farm last year and was told I was the only one that was allowed to bow hunt. Chase a huge buck for 2 weeks then vanished. Come to find out the guy let...

    go to the does?

I would go with the does. Had a nice buck last Friday that was hanging out with a group and wouldn't even bother looking at anything but that group.

    Check the seat!!!!!!

That would be one heck of a shock and I'm sure I would sound like a little girl screaming in the dark! Bummer about the rabies shots too. I'll be checking mine this weekend!

Anyone seen bucks seeking or chasing yet?

Have seen a handful of decent size bucks just hanging around the groups of does and a few smaller ones actually chasing a few does around. One about got the hind legs to the face last weekend! It was hilarious.

    scent free

I don't wear any scent type suit either and I wash the outer camo every couple of sits, and I let it hang outside so it doesn't pick up any other scent. Inner clothing before I go each time. Shower with scent killer soap then spray down with scent killer before every hunt. Seems to work well...

    would you rather....

I would say typical for me. Something about that big clean look to em that's awesome. On the other hand a big gnarly with drop tines would do as well!

    Timber Floor noise

Super noisy on my walks as well, and even worse every squirrel in the woods sounds like a rhino plowing through the brush and gets me all worked up every time!

    Tonights Observations

It shouldn't be any different than using a scent drag or some other scents but I could be wrong.

    Morning or evening sits?

Sat for both and morning was a little slower than evening. Evening was pretty good, lots of does and handful of bucks starting to get active. Grunted one back from a 100yds out and he came a running! Nice 3.5 8pt so I let him walk. Hopefully with the temps cooling off things should continue to...

    what would u do ?

The beans are out where we hunt and they are feeding in them now in the evenings. Always a good call to get different stands for the wind and where you may see them at different times of day. We have some stands that are great in the morning and some are better evening time. Patterns change but...

    rain?

I agree with the good scent knockdown and also a little background noise. Did it last year in late October and saw a lot of deer moving.

    This Weekend

Yeah I don't know what we will see but I have not been out yet so I'm really just itchin to get in a stand and see what happens. I guess I can't shoot one if I'm not there right!

    This Weekend

Morning seems like the best option. My cousin said not much happening in the evening last weekend and most of the cams are all morning pics.
