Sit tight and wait, the seed will not rot or dry out in2 weeks, The only thing you have to worry about is if there is enough moisture in the ground to sprout your seeds and then if it dries out too much and they die, other than that they will be fine.
In your second set, why do you think they hit your new tree instead of the tree growing in the background? This is one of the coolist things I have seen on here, Thanks so much for posting this.

I don't know about which will stand the cold better, but I planted about 1/2 acre of Buck forage Oats next to a field of regular oats and the deer ate both the same, so I have always used regular oat after that
Tough call. I have always heard it does very little good geneticly to cull bucks in the wild. So based on that, if he is not the right age structure for what you are doing, or you are not happy shootin him, I would not. If he makes you happy, Smoke him.
The pic from this year is really hard to tell, but the ones from last yr does look to lean more towards 3 1/2 then. So I would guess he is 4 1/2 now. He is one nice buck.

I don't think it will matter, they should run through good. I would just check my drill more often to make certain it has not plugged up.
