First buck will be a shooter for sure, the second 8 looks great but I just don't know if he's there quite yet. The 3rd buck looks great but this is the only pic we have so can't really tell that well, and the last one makes up for lack of width with some great brows.
I'll have two bow tags in hand. I'm taking my friends son during the youth season. I'll be calling for my dad during second season and if it works out I'll be calling for my wife during 4th
They are not collapsible but they are not rigid either. They are a pliable plastic. I read on another forum that Dave is working on a Strutter decoy now and it might be ready by next spring.
i really like my QAD Ultra HD rest it's worked flawlessly. I'm using a G5 Optix XR sight and really like it too. You can't go wrong with a spot hogg they are terrific sights. I really like the black gold sights as well. I went with the G5 because of the adjustable fourth pin.
Archery95,
I see where you are coming from totally. We'll have to wait for the final numbers to come out as to how many shed bucks were actually killed during the late antlerless season. I just wish we had some way to know the actual numbers killed and not counting on people to correctly...
Archery95,
You are correct my thoughts on the non recovered deer from the remainder of the seasons is a total guess. But I also think it would shock us if there was a way to know that number. After looking at the data again Van Buren and Davis counties have by far the highest number of shed...
Okay I'll figure that,
That is .35 shed antler bucks per sq mile in Van Buren county and .2 shed antler bucks/sq mile for Davis county. I guarantee you half of those acres are not towns in southern Iowa.
Even if you double those numbers Van Buren is less than 1 and Davis is less than half a...
I posted this over in PMA forum. Thought I'd put my thoughts here for everyone to read too.
I personally believe the number is really nothing to be too concerned about. Yes it sucks to lose bucks that would have been around next year. But how many bucks are shot and killed but not recovered...
Can't wait till the 1st!
I can't get over the body size of the buck in the last two pictures. Know he is closer to the camera than the other buck but he absolutely dwarfs him.
Here is another good buck. First time we've got him on camera.
Here is another first timer for us he looks pretty nice but I'd reall like to see him next year.
We are having a great year getting good bucks on camera. The big 10 is one we got pictures of last year and found his right side this winter, shed scored something like 73". The nontyp is one we've never seen before but will definitely work.
