I haven't been out since I tagged out. I'm taking my fiance out this weekend for her first ever turkey hunt. What are the birds up to now, still going fairly strong I hope?
I shot my second bird of the season this morning. I roosted him last night. Snuck early this morning and setup north of where I thought he was roosted. Ended up that I was probably inside of 50 yards from him. First bird of the morning sounded of to the east at about 5:40. This guy started...
Can anyone help out? The rain, then wind, then pickup tailgate did a number on my fan this weekend. Learned the lesson the hard way I'll be keeping all my tail fans from here on out.
I was just wondering if anyone had a jake tail fan they'd be willing to part with I'll gladly pay for it. I'll be in the Des Moines this weekend so if anyone can help me out that would be great.
My first archery bird ever. Setup the king strut and bobbn' head hen in a cornfield on the edge of a pasture. Birds were roosted about 100 yards south of me. He flew down and circled around my setup then came in about a 15 yard shot. Nice bird with wet feathers he weighed 26lbs 11oz one spur...

what do you guys do to get late season pics (shedding bucks)are you putting out corn or some other type of attractant or just putting them in high deer traffic areas?
does anyone have any experience with these rechargeables? They sound like they should last a long time.

Thanks I'll probably just give them a try. I'm sure nothing works to well with the temps we have right now. I'd just like to keep up on the shedding activity later this winter.
