    New/Old Poster

Well ..after being absent for 10-15+ years due to some life changes, other situations that occured and let's face it, paranoia about social media in general due to work situation , decided to give the ole IW a try again. Back in the O.G days, I was pretty active on IW and some may have even...

    Future of CRP

CRP is a great program to get paid to do nothing. Which the U.S. government is very good at providing for lots of people. But if I didn't have CRP around me, the farmer would continue to fill in my ponds with top soil

What makes America great! May have disagreement but most people respect others viewpoints. Are you worried about other aerial spraying or just modified weather. And from my time around the world... just because America stops doesn't mean others won't. Saving the climate isn't an only America...

    HF 927

That's the ironic part...I spend hours looking at clouds or through them..and never have I been afforded the opportunity to make them go away... My point... operations can be named one thing..watch what the left hand is doing why the right hand is something different. And information is only as...

And Reuters is a TERRIBLE source for news... especially since owned by Canada. Surface level maybe...but really not now with level of tension between the 2 defense agencies

Please enlighten us all on why they send C130s (hurricane hunters) into the eye of the storm. With sources of course. As with most classified operations, information warfare is at the forefront and so is when "declassification" occurs. Easily to redact documents these days or retype a document...

    Spraying vs burning crp?

If you have an option to mow it, mow some 12-16' paths and break the big burns up a little to help slow it down.

Huh...if I can create weather, why can't I just delete weather? Had many many hours of just looking at clouds. Then I need to create "special" radar to "see" through clouds. Why not just sprinkle cloud dissolver on them?

    Spraying vs burning crp?

If it gets out of control, just let it burn! May be some incidentals but all is well! Fence posts are usually the burn victims

    Spraying vs burning crp?

Why do a natural process that's been happening on prairies for thousands of years when you can put chemicals in the ground water supply? Problem with burning, people get into too big of a hurry. Skip-i will bring my wheeler over and help with the torching.

    Spraying vs burning crp?

Burn it! 11 acres is a cake walk. We did 110 acres with 2 guys. A day of mowing and building a back burn fire break then let'r rip. It's seems scary but that back burn is great. If you have a wheeler with a tank on it makes for easy back burning. Mowing is crucial to slow down the burn in your...

    Looking for disc

I have a rhino 8' model and for those tougher fields I have to add weight. (Railroad ties) And go over a couple times on full aggressive than 1 more time with light disc to kill the clods. I know guys who fill the tubing with concrete to add weight.

Whats the odds of drawing a gun tag with no points?

If go in NW Iowa...I bet pretty good. Wouldn't recommend but if applying in the "trophy" zones. Small chance it looks like Gun: In 2024, eight out of the ten zones could be drawn by hunters with zero points. Gun tags can be drawn with 1 point or every other year.
