We always tried to get in pretty early. When our neighbors got in stand later they would bump the deer onto our property where the deer would hang out until shooting light many times.

Give Zen Ray a shot. They are darn good as well. Blow many of the "name brands" out of the water for the same or less money. I know jjohnson sells them. That's where I bought mine. Best pair of binos i've ever owned. They are very comparable to vortex from everything I'm told.

I just picked up a hunten black ir from scheels. haven't had a chance to put it out yet but it gets very good reviews for a cam in the 100 dollar price point. A good place to go for cam reviews is www.chasingame.com.

Blackhorn here too. Like that way better than pellets.

Have the cheap Scheels straps and like it. Never had any problems.

If you like solo cams, Matthews is the way to go IMO.

Not a fan of the lacrosse. Had a pair and they have cracked and have holes in them all over now after just 2 years. I'd go with Muck's. Huge fan.

No deer is worth me catching Pneumonia. I went out for an hour until I was soaked to the bone. Then said to heck with it and came home, took a hot shower and going to head out as soon as this storm passes. Should be a good one tonight with the cold weather coming tomorrow
