This morning I was set up on inside corner comming off a bunch of thick cedars. I can see across cut bean field about 120 yards or so I see and hear a buck grunting. I t was extremely quite you could hear a leaf drop type quite. I see a shooter tending a doe. very little wind. I grunted and the...
i had a problem when I first started getting into the peep. i would shoot and didn't even remember to get into my peep site. Now its the first thing i think of and remember to follow through. Don't peek, meaning dropping your bow arm to watch yuor shot. Watch your shot through your sites. Like...
he's 4.5 and a good buck. good luck with him. Looks like about mid 150s. I cant tell if he's a 4 x 5 or 5x5 from the video. He may only be upper 140's with the short brow tines.
Just curious if many get the wet nose done on there mounts. I just got this one back this summer and my taxi that did it adds the wet nose and tiny beads/bumps on it. I think it really looks good when he does this for me. Attached is the latest with the turn back style. Don't know if I like the...
Went up to Webster SD this weekend and my Buddies Jiffy Pro 4 propane worked great. I even left my 2 stroke in the truck and used his for 3 days. Work awesome and no mess with the gas. i will switch over eventually. And the perch were huge but a little tough to get. Keep about 40 real nice ones...
One time I was out bow hunting and a coyote came by. I stopped him and released the arrow. It dropped him in his tracks. knocked another arrow a took a doe later. When i got down I found the broad head had went through one ear hole and out the other and pinned him to the ground. That was coyote...
I can't understand why people use expandables when they say they never had a problem with fixed i.e. montecs, thunderheads, steelforce. etc. Yet they seems to loose deer or don't get a pass through. I shoot Full metal jackets with cut on impact. like steel force. and am confident it will bust the...
Wow, big body and good mass. AT least 4.5 maybe 5.5 but he may be at his best. If he is 5.5 it's a good chance he might be all he'll be. I shot a 6.5 this year and he was at his best last year at 5.5. Just my opinion, not expert here.
I talked to a couple groups of six around Harrison county and they are having a tough time of it. 1 group had one nice buck and the other haven't got any this second season. Not seeing the numbers. Just wondering what everyone else is hearing?
I looked at the Humingbirds also but have not heard good things, I researched these pretty hard and used my sons FL8 for years and finally bought my own. It's actually the LX3tc model. TC means true color, FYI. Goodluck can't wait to get those slabs on the same pond as last year.
