I think a lot of the doe and fawns being seen together is where the doe have already been breed and reunited with their fawns

From what I've understood the midge fly needs stagnant water where there is nothing to eat it or its eggs thus making moving streams or ponds with fish not being breading grounds for the flies

Thanks for the headsup but neither of her birds came from Iowa. They came from her grandpa's place in MS. I wasn't aware of the law on the 410. That sucks cause she can't handle a 20 guage thump yetand the 410 is very leathal.

Maybe a stupid question but I'm gonna try a couple of the rub/scrape trees in my plots and wanted thoughts. How about pouring a small amount of quickcrete in with the tree to help sturdy it up? Not enough that I couldn't pull it up with my tractor bucket come spring. Thanks for the posts guys...
