    Switchgrass

I broadcasted RC on April 19th, sprayed with atrazine after cultipacking. Next day received 3" of rain. Now half the field looks great but the other half appears to be taken over by foxtail. Should I just mow it or is there something I can spray the foxtail that won't harm the switchgrass...

    Seeding cleaned up acreage

I don't have any pics but a tornado went through in 2017 and took down quite a few trees so it is somewhat open and that's when the honey suckle took off. I'm hoping with getting rid of it, more natives will start growing but if I can help to move along I would like to.

    Seeding cleaned up acreage

I'm kind of in the same boat. I've been working on removing the honeysuckle that has over taken my small timber. The area that I have removed it from, looks like a park. I'm hoping for some native to come up but was wondering if there is anything to frost seed just to make sure I get stuff so...

    Switchgrass

Yeah it has been an interesting year. My beans did great but the foxtail came in late. I planted rye and clover in a couple of plots on thursday hoping the forecasters were correct on the rain. They actually came through and got about 3/4" rain on them last night. I think I'm going to try...

Glad to hear that. How is you field doing? Do you think this way is better than frost seeding?

Are you guys just putting this on the ground? I only have about 20 acres so if I just put it on the ground, I won't be able to hunt my property. do you guys have any ideas on what I could put it in/on that wouldn't let it leach into the ground and deer would still take to it? I know putting...

    White Pine Help

I have approximately 45 - 60-70 foot white pines that I cut down this spring and now I have an additional 85 white pines that were snapped off by the tornado last week. The ones I cut down have been limbed and are just the trunks. The ones from the tornado were not twisted but snapped off...
