The wolves have been in lower MI for at least 5 yrs. A guy trapped and shot one 5 yrs ago in the Onaway/Rogers City area. He thought it was a coyote. The DNRE is going to issue wolf hunting licenses before long.:way:

I am from Saginaw, MI and you guys wouldn't believe the walleye fishery we got going on in the Saginaw Bay and it's tributaries! We slayed the walleye this winter on the ice.

Well, I guess you need to get a tag for an animal that needs one, before you shoot one.

:thrwrck:We had a captive heard in MI get CWD in 2007-2008. First thing the DNR did was ban baiting(thank GOD!) and issuued unlimited tags in that area. Never got another positive test from then on. :drink1:
Is there any bow hunting only public land in IA?
Couldn't find any on the IA DNR website.
I am going to be bow hunting public land in IA for the first time. NR and heading to zone 5.
Any advise on where to go?
I have a few places in mind already.
I might be hunting solo, or with a hunting...
