Thanks 1983, haven’t read up on the articles but have wondered if there was a correlation. I mentioned earlier in the thread that my guess was a reproductive problem. I have read the neonic affects on turkey poults but have not read up on reproductive correlations.

Are they talking much of a market for coons this year? I know reducing coon numbers is primary but didn’t know if anyone will but them? Most I have talked to either aren’t buying or are pretty low on the big sizes.

I would say the deer spoiled overnight. If the shot was anywhere through the guts that would even make me more sure. We had some warm days and nights through most of the season. If it was a 45-50 degree night like we had I would lean toward spoiled meat and not infection. JMO.

Like 1983 has said one lung hits suck, if that is what it was. Going that far you know it did not double lung. As 1983 stated high percentage of deer eventually die from one lung hits but seems like all I know of end up way away from where expect them to be expecting they live for awhile...
